Drumming Workshops
​
Our tailored workshops take you on an exciting cultural journey through drumming, song and movement. 
We will create a fun filled unique event personalised for your individual requirements,
We encourage participants to develop their positive growth mindset, have a 'can-do attitude' and build self esteem.
All participants will be provided with an African Drum (djembe), sing and dance and basically have a great time!

Participants practicing our structured drum rhythms will be provided with opportunities for free expression allowing a release of energy through carefully facilitated instruction.

African Guitar Workshop - the 'Molo'
​
This is a rare opportunity for a glimpse of ancient Ghanaian culture in your school. Manadi Lopa presents an engaging performance that tells stories through traditional songs. Students will contribute, partake creatively and be entertained.
​Drumming can be included in this workshop.
​
Option 1: Make - one-string guitar ‘Molo’
In this 60 minute specialised workshop facilitated by Manadi, participants;
  • Experience a cultural performance of the 'Molo' by Manadi 
  • Learn the history and culture of the Molo​​
  • Make your own Molo​
Option 2: Create - play, sing and perform
​
In this 60 minute specialised workshop facilitated by Manadi, you will be guided through an incredibly creative and cultural experience.
  • Learn to play traditional African tunes on your handcrafted guitar/Molo
  • Learn how to play and sing in harmony with your group
  • Create a self devised song with your group
  • Perform what you have learnt
  • Take home your own Molo​
Community Singing ​
We provide workshops for community choirs where we teach African chants, create 4 part harmonies together and perform original African songs with MANADi.  ​
